Elaine Altman Rutter sent us this photo of a life ring from the Robin Locksley. Her family was boating near the shipping channel on the Chesapeake, when the Robin Locksley passed. She said that it was a big thrill to see a large ship and all the children waved and waved. Then one of the sailors threw the ring to them. Her dad retrieved the ring and it decorated their family room wall for many years. |
